Terms and Conditions of Use

1. General information

The Garage Sales project is an initiative conceived and managed by Noname Creative Sagl, with registered office at 6934 Bioggio, Switzerland, hereinafter “Noname”.

The online platform www.garagesales.ch, hereinafter the “Platform”, allows the publication and consultation of events for the sale, exchange, or transfer of used goods organized by private individuals or other parties, hereinafter “Advertisers” or “Sellers”.

Access to and use of the Platform imply full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Scope of the service

The Platform has an exclusively informational and promotional purpose. Noname provides a digital space for the publication of advertisements relating to sales events, without taking any active role in their organization or execution.

The publication of an advertisement does not constitute any guarantee of visibility, attendance, or success of the sale.

3. Publication and moderation of content

Noname reserves the right to review, moderate, reject, or remove, at any time and at its sole discretion, advertisements or content that are:

• incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading
• contrary to applicable laws and regulations
• inappropriate or not compliant with the Platform guidelines

Noname is not required to provide reasons for the rejection or removal of content.

4. Responsibility of advertisers

Each Advertiser is solely responsible for:

• the information provided
• the organization of the event, including location, date, and opening hours
• the goods offered and their lawful origin
• the conditions of sale and payment methods
• compliance with applicable tax, administrative, and safety regulations

List of goods that cannot be sold

To ensure safety, legality, and transparency, the sale of the following goods and content is not allowed on the Platform.

1. Illegal or dangerous content

• Weapons of any kind
• Drugs and narcotic substances
• Pornographic material
• Counterfeit or fake products
• Proceeds from illegal activities, including stolen goods

2. Personal data and information

• Private addresses and phone numbers
• Data relating to companies or organizations
• Digital assets without a physical counterpart, including NFTs and cryptocurrencies

3. Specific products

• Animals and plants, including live animals, protected species, or dog and cat skins
• Cultural property, including archaeological artifacts without legal documentation of origin
• Alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content above 70% or with unauthorized additives
• Food products, including cultivated meat, insects, raw milk or unpasteurized cheeses in accordance with applicable regulations, foie gras
• Hazardous materials, including flammable, corrosive, or magnetic substances not suitable for transport

The sale of these goods is strictly prohibited. The Platform reserves the right to remove non compliant content and to suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. Disclaimer of liability

Noname does not act as an intermediary or contractual party in the relationship between Sellers and Buyers and shall not be held liable for:

• disputes between the parties
• direct or indirect damages arising from participation in events
• theft, accidents, or damage to persons or property
• errors, omissions, or service interruptions

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Platform, including texts, images, trademarks, and the site structure, is the property of Noname Creative Sagl or licensed to it.

Any reproduction without written authorization is prohibited.

7. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law.

The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the Canton of Ticino, seat of Noname Creative Sagl, subject to mandatory statutory provisions.
